Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
There's a drive-thru, which is half the appeal, and when I grabbed a half-size fried rice with fried tofu and the veggie mix it had good flavor and honest portions. I ducked in once to kill time during a tire change and the place smelled great, ran spotless, and the staff was kind and genuinely informative. The food was plentiful, enough to stretch over a couple days.
The trouble is the math. Thirty-plus dollars for a single combo, sixty for two meals, and the upcharges sting: $4.50 for a full order that looks like a half, $3.50 for noodles that came out oily, flavorless and without so much as a shred of cabbage. Good when you order right, but the price point pushes its luck.
The Order
A half-size fried rice with fried tofu and the veggie mix, hit through the drive-thru.
⚠ Gotcha
The upcharges add up fast and the noodle add-on came out oily and bland. Skip the noodle upcharge.
