Wagyu On Wheels - The Fieldhouse @ The Crossover

I'll say it flat out: this is the best burger I've found in this stretch of town. The smashburger comes out crispy at the edges, juicy in the middle, the kind of thing you start planning your week around. I tried the Barnyard burger too and it delivered, and then I went down the side-dish rabbit hole: parmesan fries, curly fries, sweet potato fries that edged out the rest, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks that made me make embarrassing noises in public.

The dips are half the fun. Cowboy Tears was my favorite of the bunch and they're all worth a dunk. New lakeside location, friendly service, a good crowd around you. The burger that smelled so good through the truck window that I cracked the box open in my car before I even pulled out. That tells you everything.
