The word on Veranda Bar & Restaurant
Here's the word going around
I haven't let Abhishek steer me to that biryani yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

By most accounts a manager named Abhishek leans in and tells you the biryani is the move, and reviewers say he's dead right: the best biryani some have tasted, chasers of biryani in a lot of cities included. They put Chef Asif Syed in the conversation with the big culinary markets, cooking in a sleek, beautifully designed room with a bar built for a work happy hour, ambitious Indian food that earns the swagger.
The vegetarian side holds up too, the reviews say: Malai Kofta rich, creamy and balanced, Veg Nuts Biryani aromatic and cooked exactly right. One tip from the table: when you order the Palak Paneer, the paneer's generous but go easy on requesting it mild, or you'll mute it. Make the drive.
The best biryani somebody's ever had, on the manager's orders? I'm taking Abhishek's advice in person.
The Order
Reviewers point to the biryani, on Abhishek's orders, and the Malai Kofta if you're keeping it vegetarian.
⚠ Gotcha
Don't over-order the spice down, by several accounts. Asking for very mild can flatten dishes like the Palak Paneer.
That's the word on this one.
