Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
Abhishek, who manages the room, leaned in and told me the biryani was the move. He was dead right: it's the best biryani I've ever tasted, and I've chased biryani in a lot of cities. Chef Asif Syed is cooking at a level that genuinely belongs in the conversation with the big culinary markets, and he's doing it in a sleek, beautifully designed room with a bar built for a work happy hour. This is ambitious Indian food landing in Leander and it earns the swagger.
The vegetarian side holds up too. Malai Kofta came rich, creamy, and balanced, and the Veg Nuts Biryani was aromatic and cooked exactly right. One tip from the table: when you order the Palak Paneer, the paneer is generous but go easy on requesting it mild, or you'll mute it like I almost did. Make the drive.
The Order
The biryani, on Abhishek's orders. Malai Kofta if you're keeping it vegetarian.
⚠ Gotcha
Don't over-order the spice down. Asking for very mild can flatten dishes like the Palak Paneer.
