Anthony's take

By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026

The owner is usually right there when you walk in, and she makes a point of it, warm and welcoming every single time, the kind of host who turns a sushi run into a regular habit. This is a Japanese and Korean kitchen pulling double duty and nailing both. The Korean jjim I had floored me, and the sushi is consistently fresh with specialty rolls that don't miss: the Phoenix, the Lion King, the rainbow with its loud colors and the crunch rolls piled generous.

My go-to has quietly become the salmon bowl, and I'll keep calling this place underrated until enough of you prove me wrong. Food and service both run high. Bring your daughter, bring your appetite, just come.

The Order

The salmon bowl is my standby, plus the Korean jjim and a Phoenix or Lion King roll.
