The brownies and cookies are the best I've had in ages, no exaggeration, and if you lean blue raspberry or coconut, the Hawaii Kai dirty soda is the move. They even pull off gluten-free cupcakes and scones that don't taste like an apology, which is its own small miracle.

This is a place that shows up for its town. A son's chocolate Oreo birthday cake came out moist with icing dialed to the exact right sweetness. They hosted a Girl Scout tea party, decorations and all, and treated strangers like regulars.
