Inside a Jiffy Mart you will find a little Mexican grill that can genuinely turn out the best breakfast tacos around: substantial size, fresh corn tortillas, delicious salsa, and friendly people at the counter. For a quick morning stop that is a real find. When it is on, it is on.
But I have to be straight with you in a town drowning in good taco options. A barbacoa order came out swimming in grease and loaded with gristle, and the flour tortillas, once homemade under the old name, now taste like they came out of a Mission bag. The corn ones are still made in house and worth getting. Just temper your expectations on anything flour.
