The word on Taqueria Gabrieles
Here's the word going around
I haven't caught these tacos through the Jiffy Mart doors yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

By most accounts inside a Jiffy Mart you'll find a little Mexican grill that can turn out some of the best breakfast tacos around: substantial size, fresh corn tortillas, delicious salsa, friendly counter people, a real find for a quick morning stop. When it's on, reviewers say, it's on.
But in a town drowning in taco options, people are straight about the dips: a barbacoa order came out swimming in grease and loaded with gristle, and the flour tortillas, once homemade under the old name, now taste like they came out of a Mission bag. The corn ones are still made in house and worth getting. Temper your expectations, the reviews say, on anything flour.
Some of the best breakfast tacos hiding in a gas station? I'll go on a clear day and find the corn ones.
The Order
Reviewers point to breakfast tacos on the homemade corn tortillas, and say skip the flour.
⚠ Gotcha
Hours are unreliable, by several accounts. They've shut down for the day over rain, so call before you drive over.
That's the word on this one.
