The word on Taco Twist

Here's the word going around

I haven't tested this fusion menu yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

Anthony, The Leander Local · Last checked August 2026

By most accounts you walk into Taco Twist for the Delhi-street-style swing, not the name on the sign. Reviewers describe a vibrant room easy to hang in with friends, a full bar, and a kitchen swinging big on a mile-long Indian fusion menu. When it lands, it lands: a noodle burger that tastes like authentic Delhi street food, a Tandoori paneer pizza called a winner, and a Maharaja burger that does the job, with plenty to choose from.

Here's the catch, and it's the one in the name: the tacos are the weak link, coming out oily, cold in the wrapper with only the filling warm, so greasy they're a chore. With refinement they could be something, people say. Until then, the reviews steer hard toward the burgers and pizza.

A noodle burger that tastes like Delhi street food? I'll order wide and dodge the tacos.

The Order

Reviewers point to the noodle burger and the Tandoori paneer pizza, and say skip the tacos.

⚠ Gotcha

Despite the name, the tacos are the worst thing on the menu, by several accounts. Order the burgers and pizza.

That's the word on this one.
