Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
I went in on a whim, no reservation, low expectations, and walked out having had one of the freshest sushi runs I've hit in a while. The nigiri did it: albacore and tuna, pristine clean cuts, that buttery just-caught texture you clock the second it touches your tongue. The rolls are balanced and actually taste like something instead of drowning in sauce.
The room is bright, clean, warm, the kind of place that works for a date or for hauling the kids in for a bento box and a Lion King roll. Reward points if you keep coming back, and you will. Staff is kind, the service is dialed, and the name isn't lying.
The Order
I go straight for the albacore and tuna nigiri, then a Lion King Roll. The bento box if I've got a kid in tow.
