By most accounts this Subway defies the assembly-line-indifference expectation: reviewers describe ducking in on a lunch break and getting welcomed like an old friend, an ink-covered counter guy lighting up the second they walk in, making a counter job feel like a person instead of a ticket number. The place reads clean and organized, bathroom included.
It's Subway, so the food's ceiling is the food's ceiling, but people single out a Sophia staying late to build a sandwich she clearly cared about, and an Eric and Michael running the line friendly and sharp, making subs exactly as asked, no editorializing. That crew, the reviews say, is why the stop is more than a chain logo.
A Subway where they make you feel like a person, not a ticket? I'll go test that welcome.
