The word on Starbucks Coffee Company (US-183)
Here's the word going around
I haven't caught this crew on a good day yet, so this is the regulars' read, not mine.
Anthony, The Leander Local · Last checked August 2026
By most accounts there's real love at this Starbucks when the crew is rolling. One reviewer cared enough to name the whole lineup, Kaylie, Jose, Fern, TJ, Chloe and more, the kind of roll call you only write when a place feels like home. That energy, people say, is the best thing the store has going, and on its day the welcome is the whole reason to come.
The problem is staffing, and it shows: a twenty-minute wait on a single order, fifteen minutes to even be acknowledged, food sitting out going cold while two drink-makers reportedly didn't seem to care. One hardworking drive-thru person carrying a checked-out crew reads as a pattern, not a fluke. Staffed and engaged, the reviews say, it's warm and good. Otherwise, you'll watch your food die on the counter.
A crew a regular loves enough to list by name? I want to catch them on the day that earns it.
The Order
Reviewers say keep it to a standard handcrafted drink and skip anything that needs to come out hot.
⚠ Gotcha
Understaffing leads to long waits and food sitting out cold, by several accounts. Avoid the busy rushes if you can.
