People are finding a childhood fix, a true Italian ice that's been missing in Texas. Reviewers rave about the texture, "super soft like ice cream," and the sheer variety of flavors. The staff gets props for being genuinely friendly, even helpful with recommendations. It's often enjoyed with live music at The Crossover, adding to the easygoing appeal. They talk about a "Skye Cream," an in house sweetened condensed milk, that elevates the experience.
But not everything gets a pass. One poor soul got stung by the "Hot Fudge Sundae," a dismal affair of two scoops, chocolate syrup, and an eight dollar price tag. A clear warning: manage expectations, or skip that particular misfire entirely.
Maybe Leander's got more than just good BBQ. I'll have to see for myself.

The consensus leans heavily toward the Italian Ices, specifically Sour Apple and the Coconut Cloud with that proprietary Skye Cream. Snowcones also get a nod for their soft, creamy texture. And if you're feeling old school, the Banana Split seems to hit the mark.
