Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
They run it out of a gas station and there are more people coming for the burgers than the fuel, which is the kind of detail I trust more than any review. Mine was cooked to order and you could taste how fresh everything was: bacon, fried onions, BBQ sauce, jalapenos, pepper jack, juicy and stacked and seasoned like someone back there actually cares. The fries are the sleeper, hot and crispy and done right every single time. The Rise and Shine is a solid order, and next round I am throwing jalapenos on it.
Kane, the general manager, came out to say hello and was genuinely kind, even to the little kids at the next table, the kind of touch that makes a place stick. Best burger in Leander as far as I am concerned, prices that stay reasonable, and the spot that fed us through a lot of late-night unpacking when we first moved here. It holds.
The Order
The Rise and Shine, loaded with bacon, fried onions, BBQ, jalapenos, and pepper jack. Do not skip the fries.
