Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
Scooter's is a drive-thru, which usually means I expect nothing and get less. Not here. The voice at the speaker was genuinely friendly, the window came with a real smile, and the vanilla creme cold brew was tasting-great good, not just caffeinated. The line moves fast. The crew, by every account I trust and my own, is top tier, the kind of sweet welcome that turns a coffee stop into a small bright spot in the day.
The seasonal drinks and the snacks they keep dropping give everyone in the car something to fight over, and yeah, the stickers are a nice touch. My only real gripe is the math: five-plus dollars for a medium iced coffee with a splash of oat milk adds up if you're a regular. But for service this warm and coffee this drinkable, I keep pulling back in.
The Order
I grab the vanilla creme cold brew, and whatever fun seasonal thing they're pushing for the kid in the back seat.
⚠ Gotcha
Great coffee, but $5-plus for a medium iced with a splash of oat milk means a daily habit adds up fast.
