Scooter's Coffee

The sea salt Caramelicious blender is the reason to pull in, sweet and good and worth a medium, not the large you'll regret. The staff are relentlessly pleasant, tossing out cheery adjectives like wonderful and terrific at a drive-thru window where most people grunt, and the app is dead simple. When the orders land right, the coffee's tasty and the blended Oreo thing is a small joy.

Here's the rub: when they land right. I want to love this place, but too often something's off. Drip coffee shows up cold and I'm back in the line for another. The mini donuts have come out still frozen. Little things, but they add up, and they've been open long enough to have it sorted. Stick to the blended drinks and you'll dodge most of the trouble.
