The word on Saccone's Pizza & Subs
Here's the word going around
I haven't tasted this slice of the Northeast yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

By most accounts Saccone's is the cure for Texas-pizza heartbreak if you came up in the Northeast. Reviewers describe a crunchy under-crust, dough and sauce that taste like somebody's grandmother had opinions, and toppings that show up fresh every time, the only pie around that scratches the itch for home. One delivery reportedly arrived in thirty minutes piping hot, wings and pizza both, which genuinely shocked the diner.
The room draws notes for more seating than the toll-road location, handy when you'd rather sit than fight for a chair, and an Aaron who handled an order cool and professional while the register acted up. Ask for Oscar, the reviews say, do the Greek salad and hot wings, and let this Jersey-style joint take you somewhere.
Pizza that tastes like home to homesick Northeasterners? I want to see if it travels that well.
The Order
Reviewers point to a combo pizza, hot wings, and a Greek salad with dressing on the side.
⚠ Gotcha
The Greek salad comes pre-dressed unless you flag it, by several accounts. Ask for the dressing on the side if you like control over your greens.
That's the word on this one.
