If you came up in the Northeast, you know the heartbreak of Texas pizza. Saccone's is the cure. Crunchy under-crust, dough and sauce that taste like somebody's grandmother had opinions, toppings that show up fresh every time. This is the only pie in the area that scratches the itch for home, and I don't say that lightly. My delivery showed up in thirty minutes piping hot, wings and pizza both, which genuinely shocked me.
The room's got more seating than the toll-road location, a bonus when you want to sit and eat instead of fight for a chair. Aaron took my order while the register was acting up and handled it cool and professional, no sweat showing. Ask for Oscar, do the Greek salad and hot wings, and let this Jersey-style joint take you somewhere.
