Anthony's take

By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026

Red Horn is brewery, roastery, and kitchen all under one big calm roof, tucked off the main road so the noise drops away. I ran nine five-ounce tasters across the twenty-some taps and every single one came back above average, which almost never happens. The space is huge, easily seating fifty or sixty inside, but the move is outside under the tree, quiet enough for an actual peaceful coffee break or a long beer afternoon.

Then the food jumped the line. The hot dogs are the sleeper hit: a Banh Mi dog, a Texas Chili dog, a Chicago dog, all over the top. Coffee, beer, or food, you are covered, and the friendly staff and easy parking seal it. A spot that does three things and somehow does them all well.

The Order

Build a flight of the five-ounce tasters, then a Banh Mi or Chicago hot dog. Coffee from the roaster on the way out.

⚠ Gotcha

Set back off the main road, so it is calm and easy to drive past. The outdoor seating under the tree is the seat to grab.
