The Cedar Park Rabbit Hole runs on its people. Matt, the owner, waved me in and let us bring food from the restaurant next door without blinking. Lucas behind the bar recalled my drink from three weeks back and pours what I'd call the best Old Fashioned in Cedar Park. Late one night Callie welcomed us at last call and sent us off with recommendations for other spots.
The drinks back up the hospitality: a sharp Old Fashioned, a clean Cosmo for my wife, happy hour pricing that makes lingering easy. Clean room, full of atmosphere, the kind of neighborhood bar you adopt as your own.
The Order
I'd get the Old Fashioned from Lucas and a Cosmo, and lean into happy hour.
