Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
I love Louisiana fried chicken the way I love few things, which is why this one breaks my heart. The six-piece boneless wings I carried out smelled off, like the chicken had been sitting somewhere it shouldn't have, and I couldn't bring myself to eat them. Money straight into the trash.
It didn't end at the food. I asked for sweet tea and got unsweet, twice, and the woman at the window argued with me about whether I could taste sugar in my own cup. Three out of five takeout runs come up short a biscuit or a whole item. Drive thirty minutes round trip and you're gambling your dinner is even in the bag. I wanted to love this place. It won't let me.
The Order
Honestly, nothing I'd trust right now. If you must, open the box and smell it before you pull off.
⚠ Gotcha
Check every bag at the window. Items go missing more often than not, and the tea is a coin flip.
