The bowls here come packed to the rim, not those sad half-filled cups you get at the mall. I loaded mine with toppings and sauces until it nearly overflowed, and the fish was clean and cold and bright. The move that won me over was the albacore, sitting right there next to the usual salmon and tuna, and it is what nudges this place a notch above the pack. Fresh-cut daily, reasonable money, friendly hands behind the counter.

Now the part I cannot bury: I picked up an order once and clocked a couple of dead German roaches and a live one scuttling across the dining floor on my way out. That is a gut-punch for a raw-fish operation. The food itself was excellent, the value is real, but a kitchen slinging poke has to win the cleanliness fight every single day.
