The roast turkey sandwich and the caprese both came on focaccia that was warm and pillowy, hearty enough that half of one filled me up, and I sat there a little stunned at how right it was. This is a small room, cozy, good for conversation or a book, the kind of place where the staff actually talk to you. When I had a rough first go with something, they reached out, I came back, and the biscuits and gravy made a believer out of me.

Breakfast is the heart of it. The Golden State Benedict was excellent, the Dublin iced coffee a proper treat, and the caramelized banana French toast is so sweet and well-built it needs no syrup. I even tried the Utopia burger, good beef piled with toppings, everything landing. They care here, and it shows on the plate.
