Nick's Breakfast and Coffee

The skillet came out sizzling and cooked perfectly, the best I've had around here, and they offer chicken sausage, which almost nobody does and which was excellent. The French toast might be the best in town, no asterisk. Diane waited on me with the kind of kindness that makes a homey place feel like the real thing, and the lunches I've grabbed to go have never let me down. The salads are sharp too.

Here's the hard part. Twice from the bar I watched the owner dress down the waitresses, reprimanding them right out in the open. The food is genuinely good and the servers deserve better than that, so I'm sending you for them. Tip well and be kind to the people carrying your plate.
