Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
I stopped on my way to Austin for a Rose Vanilla Matcha and it genuinely rearranged my plans. Probably the best matcha I've ever put in my mouth, and when I got to talking with the owner I found out he makes the syrups in house. You can taste it, every time, no question. The guy is warm and generous with his time, the kind of person who makes a small coffee counter feel like a destination.
The atmosphere multiplies it all by ten, but the matcha is the draw. It's true to flavor, never that dusty green sludge, and the seasonal banana bread matcha is a small piece of brilliance. Even the plain oatmilk latte holds up if you're playing it safe, but don't play it safe. The menu here is unlike anything around, built to be explored.
The Order
The Rose Vanilla Matcha. If the banana bread matcha is in season, get that instead.
