Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
First bite of a Marco's pie won me over before I'd finished chewing. Loaded, buttery, with a crust that runs a touch sweet, and the Pepperoni Melt, all extra cheese and pepperoni, is a genuinely pretty pizza for a chain. I came over from Papa John's and found it cheaper and just as good, a large feeding the room without complaint. For a fast-food pizza shop, this clears the bar.
The catch is consistency on the way out the door. I've had mushrooms swapped for jalapenos on a Pepperoni Magnifico, which torched a pizza meant for my kids, and seen a delivery arrive with the tamper sticker not even properly stuck. The pizza's good. Just check your box before you trust it.
The Order
The Pepperoni Melt, extra cheese, ordered for pickup so I can eyeball it.
⚠ Gotcha
Open the box and confirm your toppings before you leave or tip. Delivery mix-ups and a loose tamper sticker have bitten me here.
