Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
There's a comeback story here. Under new ownership since March, and the new owner is the whole reason to give this place another look. I met him, and you can feel the refreshed approach: the spot's clean, the hours are honest, the service is genuinely good, and he's clearly out to earn back trust one customer at a time. I went in skeptical from the old reviews and left impressed by the guy running it.
The product still has to catch up to the energy, though. A fudge sundae ran me over seven bucks for half a small cup of ice cream, a thin chocolate drizzle, some nuts, and a pile of below-average whipped cream, and the price made me laugh out loud. There's also an old report of a hygiene slip with a half-eaten cookie, the kind of thing the new ownership needs to bury for good. Rooting for it.
The Order
Stick to a hand-blended scoop with mix-ins, the thing this chain is built for, and skip the pricey sundae.
⚠ Gotcha
The fudge sundae is small and overpriced. Manage expectations or build your own.
