The word on Marble Slab Creamery
Here's the word going around
I haven't watched the new owner work yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

By most accounts there's a comeback story here. Under new ownership since March, and reviewers say the new owner is the whole reason to give it another look: the spot's clean, hours honest, service genuinely good, and he's clearly out to earn back trust one customer at a time. People who walked in skeptical from the old reviews report leaving impressed by the guy running it.
The product still has to catch up to the energy, though. A fudge sundae reportedly ran over seven bucks for half a small cup of ice cream, a thin chocolate drizzle, some nuts, and below-average whipped cream, a price that made one diner laugh out loud. There's also an old report of a hygiene slip the new ownership needs to bury for good. The consensus: rooting for it.
A redemption arc told one scoop at a time? I'll happily go check the owner's progress.
The Order
Reviewers say stick to a hand-blended scoop with mix-ins, the thing this chain is built for, and skip the pricey sundae.
⚠ Gotcha
The fudge sundae is small and overpriced, by several accounts. Manage expectations or build your own.
That's the word on this one.
