The word on Little Beijing Restaurant

Here's the word going around

I haven't put this newly opened kitchen to the test yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

Anthony, The Leander Local · Last checked August 2026

By most accounts the General Tao tofu surprises people, clean and bright, out of the kitchen fast, with genuinely fresh veggies, solid portions, and takeout packaging one reviewer says survived a real-world stress test getting hauled home. There's clear care going into this newly opened spot. But the reviews are straight about the rough edges: a large wonton soup that showed up with one black hair in it, and only four wontons for a large. The counter swapped it for a fresh bowl without a fuss, which counts for something. The bones are good here, people say, but the kitchen's got some tightening to do before they rave.

A new spot with good bones and clean tofu? I'll give it a look once the kinks settle.

The Order

Reviewers point to the General Tao tofu, the cleanest, fastest thing they sent out.

⚠ Gotcha

A large wonton soup came with only four wontons, and one bowl had a hair in it, by a couple of accounts. They replaced it without argument.

That's the word on this one.
