Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
Leander Beer Market nails the neighborhood-bar basics: a craft selection that changes constantly so I'm always trying something new, cheap-ish drinks, and a big outdoor patio with a misting fan for the Texas heat. When I stick to beer and the right snacks, the fried pickles, meatball hero, and wings, I leave happy.
The food is a gamble, though. One plate billed as bruschetta and chef salad came out genuinely rough, and the patio can run short on fans and comfortable seating when it's packed. Service slows at the rush. It's a good bar with a hit-or-miss kitchen; manage expectations and it delivers.
The Order
I'd chase a rotating draft with the fried pickles, meatball hero, and wings, and skip the bruschetta.
⚠ Gotcha
They hold your credit card when you open a tab, so don't walk off without grabbing it back. And the food is hit or miss.
