Anthony's take

By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026

The chicken is crispy and good, the Texas toast is genuinely bomb, the fries come out golden, and that sauce is the kind of thing you'd drink. The space theme is fun, the staff welcoming, and the chicken sandwiches in particular are fantastic. On the food alone I came in a fan and left one.

The price is the gut-punch. Fifteen bucks for a few tiny tenders and a little pile of fries is rough, the gravy showed up with no flavor, and a chicken wrap that's 70 percent lettuce and a tender and a half for nine dollars is hard to defend. They've also fumbled my sauces and mixed up the order more than once. Cane's gives you more food for less, and I notice. Good flavor, sour value.

The Order

The chicken sandwich with the Texas toast and that sauce. Skip the gravy.

⚠ Gotcha

Portions are small for the price, and order mix-ups and wrong sauces happen. Check your bag before you pull off.
