Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
I walked into Kwality on a quiet Sunday and walked out a convert. They've got damn near every Indian flavor imaginable, and they let me taste before I committed, which is how I ended up face-first in a kulfi plate stacked with malai, mango, rose, pistachio, kesar and paan. Pistachio was the one that got me. Then the Ferrero Rocher hit, heavy and loaded, the kind of indulgent that should require a waiver. The faloodas come generous, the prices stay reasonable, and the staff were warm the whole time.
The room was clean to the point of smelling like the cleaner had just done a lap, which I'll forgive instantly for ice cream this good. This is the immigrant-kitchen sweet shop you drive across town for, the falooda and the kulfi that no chain freezer will ever touch. Go hungry and go curious.
The Order
I'd build the kulfi plate, chase it with a chikoo or kesar pista falooda, and let pistachio be the hero.
⚠ Gotcha
Service can be a touch slow when it's quiet, and the cleaner smell is strong. Neither dents the ice cream.
