The HOC Chicken Dosa is unlike anything I've put in my mouth, a tangle of flavor and texture that landed so well I sat there grinning. This is Chettinad cooking with the volume up, fresh and full and confident. The thali was portioned with real intelligence, not too much, not too little, exactly one hungry person's worth. Kothu parota tasty, mocktails better than they had any right to be, and the paneer tikka came out soft and juicy.
The owner and the whole crew run this like a celebration of family and culture, and you feel it from the door. Service was fast and everyone made sure we wanted for nothing. One of the best meals I've had in a long stretch, and the kind of place that stays with you in the parking lot afterward.
