The Nallakaram Gobi stopped me cold: aptly spiced, light enough that I kept reaching for more without the grease guilt. The Hashtag Special Biryani is the regular order for good reason, and one quiet morning I came in early for dosa and medhu vada with chutneys that punched above their weight. Clean room, decent staff, fair market prices. This is one of the rare spots that opens at 10 and actually does breakfast.
The Mixed Grill Platter with chicken brought real spice for those of us who want it to mean something, and I respect that. It isn't flawless: my biryani once landed before my starter, a small service hiccup, and the mutton Mandi came over-salted with rice I wished there was more of. But they plate the rice and mutton separately, the flavors are honest, and the kitchen clearly cares.

⚠ Gotcha
The mutton Mandi runs heavy on salt. Ask them to ease up if you're sensitive.
