Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
The pizza here is the reason to come. I ordered a large, half Hawaiian and half pepperoni with mushrooms, and it landed exactly in that Alamo Drafthouse zone: flavorful crust with a firm chew, not thin, not fluffy, the extra cheese warm and soft and genuinely tasty. This far north of Austin, a pie this good is a find, and it's become a regular stop for me.
Fair warning, the place isn't what it was. The barbacoa and breakfast tacos that used to be a draw fell off hard after a staff change about a year back, so I steer clear of those now and stay in the pizza lane. Service can swing rude too. Stick to the pie and you'll leave happy.
The Order
A large pizza, half Hawaiian and half pepperoni with mushrooms, extra cheese.
⚠ Gotcha
Don't show up near the 3pm lunch-special cutoff expecting flexibility. I got turned away at 2:30 and met with attitude. And skip the barbacoa; it's not what it used to be.
