Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
Orange chicken is my litmus test for any Asian kitchen, and Four Seasons passed where so many fail. The chicken was fresh, not the hard overcooked freezer-burned nuggets I have suffered through too many times. This is a family-owned room, clean, the vegetables genuinely crisp, the prices kind, and the moo shu and broccoli beef I tried backed it all up. The staff were warm and easy, the kind of people who make a strip-mall Chinese spot feel like a neighbor's kitchen.
One miss to flag: the chicken wings came overly battered and flavorless, all cornstarch and chewy skin under the fry, and I would skip them next time. But the core menu, the stuff this kitchen clearly cares about, is fresh and right. I would absolutely go back.
The Order
Orange chicken and broccoli beef, with a side of white rice.
⚠ Gotcha
Skip the chicken wings. Over-battered and flavorless under all that fry.
