Brand new location, quick service, and the onion rings were exactly what DQ rings should be, crispy and right. My strawberry sundae was nice, the wife liked her taco and her sundae, and I'll give them bonus points for cherry and vanilla syrup at the drink station so you can build your own flavored Coke. Chicken strips ran a touch dry, but nothing offensive.
Then came the bit that made me laugh out loud. I had exact change down to 78 cents, and the cashier informed me their bank doesn't accept pennies and charged me 80. They take pennies coming in, apparently, just not going out. Small thing, but it's the kind of nonsense that tells you who's minding the store.
The Order
The onion rings, no question, and build a cherry-vanilla Coke at the fountain.
⚠ Gotcha
Certain parking spots are a pain to back out of, and don't expect your pennies back.
