Cold Stone Creamery

This Cold Stone broke my heart on a few visits and not in the fun way. I showed up on a Friday at 6pm with hours left on the clock, and they were already out of most things, including the strawberry the order I wanted depended on. One overwhelmed kid was running the whole place solo. Another time my Cheesecake Fantasy showed up barely mixed and melting before I was halfway through, which defeats the entire point of the granite slab. I've even had a waffle cone I ordered quietly swapped for a cup cone with a shrug.

The granite-slab gimmick only works if the toppings are stocked, the mixing is done right, and somebody's actually staffed to do it. Here, too often, none of that lines up. Word is the Cedar Park location runs decent. I'd point my car there instead.
