The word on Chano's Tacos #2
Here's the word going around
I haven't ordered tacos out of this gas station yet, so this is the regulars' word, not mine.

By most accounts you pull up to the gas station, order at the counter inside, and the al pastor coming off that grill is the best in the area, piled with chopped onion and fresh cilantro on a good corn tortilla. Reviewers love that you can stack breakfast and lunch in one order, chorizo or potato with pico, jalapenos and cheese in the morning, al pastor at lunch. Service reads friendly and quick, the food fresh, and yes, the word goes, it beats the HEB version without breaking a sweat.
In the interest of honesty, one diner hit a rough morning where half the order was someone else's and every meat came out burnt to a black crisp, steak, bacon, chorizo, all charcoal. By the reviews that was the off day, not the rule. On a normal run, this place delivers.
Gas-station al pastor that out-tacos HEB is exactly the kind of legend I need to confirm.
The Order
Reviewers point to al pastor on corn for lunch, chorizo or potato with pico and jalapenos for breakfast.
⚠ Gotcha
Quality can swing on a bad morning and orders occasionally get crossed, by a few accounts. Check your bag before you pull off.
That's the word on this one.
