By most accounts, if it's not happening at Caddie Shack, it's not happening: golf, local bands, billiards, shuffleboard, cornhole, darts, Texas Hold'em, bar-league Jeopardy, bingo, and a food truck out front. Reviewers report playing pool and shuffleboard, scoring a free slice of pizza that actually tasted good, finding cold beer and a clean room, and catching a band setting up for the night. This reads as Point Venture's clubhouse for everybody.
The one real gripe in the reviews: when the music kicks on, it gets loud enough to drive people out, even from the next room over, with nobody seeming to notice the exodus. Worth knowing before you settle in for a long hang.
Shuffleboard, cold beer, and a free slice? That's less a visit than a calling.
