Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
The drive-thru is the best thing going here. One run, the employee was patient with a big complicated order ahead of me and actually helped that customer find the best deal, then made my Whopper Junior exactly how I asked, hot. That's the kind of small competence that earns a return visit. The improved Whopper is decent too, fresher ingredients in a box, though I still prefer the texture of the classic.
But consistency is the whole game and they lose it. I got a peppercorn BLT Whopper combo served cold, fries cold, with literally one slice of bacon, which is a strange thing to call a BLT. And the frozen Coke was more air than Coke. Hit it on the right shift and it's solid. Hit it wrong and you'd have done better at home.
The Order
A hot Whopper Junior made to order. Skip the frozen Coke, it's mostly air.
⚠ Gotcha
Food comes out cold on bad shifts and the BLT runs light on bacon. Check it's hot before you drive off.
