The word on Brooklyn Heights Pizzeria
Here's the word going around
I haven't grabbed a booth here yet, so this is the transplants' read, not my own.

By most accounts Brooklyn Heights is a neighborhood pizza-and-sports bar with a friendly bar and staff who go out of their way. Chicago and Brooklyn transplants in the reviews, the toughest crowd there is, vouch for the Mama Mia: good sauce, good crust, meatballs people call the real deal, and fried pickles with ranch that disappear fast. Made-to-order pies reportedly come out quick and right even on a packed Tuesday.
The honest part, by several accounts: the lasagna has slipped on both quality and portion over recent months, a real shame, and the wings draw repeated warnings, coming out tough and rubbery. The recurring advice: stick to the pizza and the apps and you'll leave happy.
Pizza that wins over Chicago and Brooklyn exiles is a pie I need to meet myself.
The Order
Reviewers point to a made-to-order pie, half Brooklyn Heights Unlimited and half Maui Wowee, with fried pickles and the meatballs.
⚠ Gotcha
By several accounts skip the wings, they come out tough and rubbery, and the lasagna isn't what it used to be.
That's the word on this one.
