The word on Bella Sera of Leander

Here's the word going around

I haven't pulled up a chair under the Pavarotti yet, so this is the diners' read, not mine.

Anthony, The Leander Local · Last checked August 2026

By most accounts the Bella Sera move is Pavarotti drifting through an old-school dining room while the garlic and cheese bread disappears. Reviewers single out the Veal Marsala in its brown sauce as the standout, with the Marsala Chicken its equal, authentic Italian that doesn't cut corners. Bruschetta Alla Feta to start, spaghetti with Italian sausage to follow, and people report walking in hungry and out heavy. The wine list comes up as a genuine strength.

Fair warning from the reviews on the pasta: the Baked Tortellini sits a little heavy, and the lighter Cheese Ravioli from the Liberty Hill branch isn't on the Leander menu. The lunch special draws value praise, though diners note Leander only sends salad with it. The service gets called family-like, fast and friendly, the kind of room that makes you like a place.

The Order

Reviewers point to the Veal Marsala or the Marsala Chicken, with the fresh garlic and cheese bread.

⚠ Gotcha

By several accounts the Baked Tortellini runs heavy, and the lighter Cheese Ravioli from the Liberty Hill location isn't on the Leander menu.

That's the word on this one.
