I came in chasing biryani and got ambushed by noodles. The Indo-Chinese plate here is the best indoor version I have eaten in Austin, full stop, and I have eaten a lot of sad ones. The biryani holds its own, the Mutton Ghee Roast and Pachi Mirchi Chicken both came out loud with flavor, and the Tandoori Chicken, which took its sweet time, landed hot, fresh, and not a dry fiber on it. Probably the best tandoori I have had in a long stretch.
The room is warm and built for a table full of people, with private space if you want to actually hear your friends talk. They are new and they were slammed when I went, so a few items were dark for the night. I forgive a kitchen that is busy because the food is good. Tell the chef the noodles are doing the Lord's work.
The Order
The Indo-Chinese noodles, the Tikka Biryani, and the Tandoori Chicken. Then Mutton Ghee Roast if there are enough hands at the table.
⚠ Gotcha
Brand new and busy, so some menu items run out. Go hungry, go patient, and the tandoori is worth the wait.
