Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
I stumbled into this place by accident and it turned into one of my better finds, which stings a little for a guy born and raised in this town. I came in chasing jerk chicken and stayed for the beef. As a Texan who takes his brisket seriously, I will tell you the beef here is the real headline: deep, smoky, properly handled, and halal done right, which is harder to find than it should be. The staff are warm and genuinely glad you walked in.
Now, the honest part. The jerk chicken portion ran thin, three pieces in a sixteen ounce cup, and I have heard of an off day where a specialty plate landed flat and service went cold. Order the beef, lean on the staff for guidance, and you will eat well.
The Order
The beef. Whatever cut they push hardest that day, get it.
⚠ Gotcha
Portions can run small on the chicken side, so set expectations and load up on the beef instead.
