Anthony's take
By Anthony Martinez, The Leander Local · Updated June 2026
B&G's is the kind of little neighborhood bake counter that lives or dies on whoever's pulling trays in the back at dawn. I don't have a crowd's worth of war stories to lean on here, just the quiet promise of a small operation that makes its own stuff instead of trucking it in frozen. That's the bet, and in a strip-mall world I'll take a homemade bet over a chain every time.
Go in with an open mouth and low expectations of fanfare. Places like this aren't built for hype, they're built for the regular who knows the name on the sign. Until I've got more to go on, I'll just say it's worth a stop if you're already passing by hungry.
The Order
I'd ask what came out of the oven most recently and order that, still warm.
