The word on Adely’s kitchen
Here's the word going around
I haven't sat down for these tacos yet, so what follows is the table talk, not my own.
Anthony, The Leander Local · Last checked August 2026
By most accounts this is some of the best Mexican food Leander has had in ages, full stop. Diners keep circling back to the carne asada tacos, meat they describe as tender and full of flavor on its own, no crutches needed, then lifted higher by the green and red salsas. That serrano toreado on the side gets talked about like a character in the story, the kind of roasted pepper that announces itself and stays with you. The al pastor, people say, holds up just as well. More than one family reports running six tacos deep in a single sitting, with the green salsa winning the table. The recurring verdict around town: a great addition to the area, and worth the drive to get to.
Six tacos deep with that serrano waiting on the side is a plan, not a maybe.
The Order
Reviewers steer you to the carne asada tacos and the tacos al pastor, with the green salsa and a serrano toreado on the side.
⚠ Gotcha
That pepper on the side runs HOT, by every account. Respect it.
That's the word on this one.
